Corporation Gone Live
OTRS has been implemented successfully
in the state of Tamilnadu. This constitutes
web application covering Online Ticket
Reservation System for the entire state
with 687 bus services. All 275 Ultra
Deluxe from any where to any where is
available for booking. Booking has started
in 20 locations: Chennai, Bangalore,
Coimbatore, Trichy, Tirupathi,Madurai,
Tutucorin, Shencottah, Nagercoil, Tirunelveli,
Salem, Rameshwaram, Kumbakonam, Kanyakumari,
Myladuthurai, Pudduchery, Nagapatinam,
Tanjore, Marthandam, Valenkanni.

hassle-free. Imagine booking your bus
tickets from the comfort of your home,
with Honorable Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy
inaugurating “AWATAR” software
for online ticket reservations of KSRTC.
KSRTC has become the first in the country
to have online ticket booking facility
for passengers.

and Intel join hands for Rural Net kiosk
Project.
RadiantInfo
has tied up with Intel to set up 5,550
rural internet kiosks in Andhra Pradesh.
As part of the agreement, RadiantInfo
will install Intel-powered community
PCs specially designed to resist heat
and dust in rural centres. The kiosks,
which is part of the Andhra Pradesh
government’s Rajiv Internet Village
project, is aimed at bridging the urban-rural
divide.

eGovernance Project from Andhra Pradesh
state in India. The other Members of
the Consortium are BEL and IBM.
RAJiv Internet Village Project is the
e-governance initiative of the state
of Andhra Pradesh to leverage and execute
of new and existing technology-infrastructure,
business and people skills and resources
across a large socioeconomic spectrum.
About one hundred services may be available
to the semi urban and rural citizens
over the internet and medium for their
transactional and information sharing
requirements by way of the proposed
RAJiv Service.
