  • May 31st, 2007 – Online Ticket Reservation System for Tamilnadu State Road  Transport Corporation Gone Live

    OTRS has been implemented successfully in the state of Tamilnadu. This constitutes web application covering Online Ticket Reservation System for the entire state with 687 bus services. All 275 Ultra Deluxe from any where to any where is available for booking. Booking has started in 20 locations: Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Trichy, Tirupathi,Madurai, Tutucorin, Shencottah, Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Salem, Rameshwaram, Kumbakonam, Kanyakumari, Myladuthurai, Pudduchery, Nagapatinam, Tanjore, Marthandam, Valenkanni.

  • March 12, 2007 - Online booking – Payment gateway transaction

    KSRTC has the distinction of being the first State Transport Corporation in India to introduce Web based Computerized Passenger Reservation System developed and implemented. A feather in the crown is having inaugurated payment gateway to public on March 12, 2007, by honorable transport minister Sri. Cheluvarayaswamy N.

Imagine booking your bus tickets from the comfort of your home, with Honorable Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy inaugurating “AWATAR” software for online ticket reservations of KSRTC. KSRTC has become the first in the country to have online ticket booking facility for passengers.

  • April 5th 2006 – Radiant and Intel join hands for Rural Net kiosk Project.

    RadiantInfo has tied up with Intel to set up 5,550 rural internet kiosks in Andhra Pradesh. As part of the agreement, RadiantInfo will install Intel-powered community PCs specially designed to resist heat and dust in rural centres. The kiosks, which is part of the Andhra Pradesh government’s Rajiv Internet Village project, is aimed at bridging the urban-rural divide.

  • May 15th, 2005 - Radiant Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. wins major e-governance project

    RadiantInfo based in Bangalore, India, has won an eGovernance Project from Andhra Pradesh state in India. The other Members of the Consortium are BEL and IBM.

    RAJiv Internet Village Project is the e-governance initiative of the state of Andhra Pradesh to leverage and execute of new and existing technology-infrastructure, business and people skills and resources across a large socioeconomic spectrum. About one hundred services may be available to the semi urban and rural citizens over the internet and medium for their transactional and information sharing requirements by way of the proposed RAJiv Service.

    RadiantInfo with its high-powered consortium team, whose members include Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and IBM bring unique business vision, experience, knowledge, resources and management critical to the success and sustainability of the e-governance project in AP - RAJiv Kiosk. RadiantInfo, known for its innovative work in ICT applications development will develop and execute transparent, flexible and citizen-friendly front- and back-end applications to meet the present and projected transaction and information needs of users. RadiantInfo will build the portal, date center, data recovery center and a call center linking 5600 centers.
