Radiant’s
solution provides a platform for preparation
and maintenance of bilingual national population
register, national register of Indian citizens,
local register of Indian citizens and national
register of residency (for non-Indian citizens)
along with infrastructure comprising of
data centers and MNIC centers. Responsibilities,
mechanisms and protocols set by the government
for various project related activities,
communication and data exchange amongst
the stakeholders as ULBs, rural bodies,
citizens and TSPs were put into place via
the solution.
The aim was to build a data repository
for citizens’ information and allotment
of smart cards with unique national identification
number (NIN).
